Our core vision at Typecast Entertainment is to nurture leadership and provide visibility of First Nation Filmmakers whilst facilitating opportunities to forge new intercontinental relationships between screen practitioners. To create a dialogue around First Nation stories and to encourage emerging leaders in the Screen Industry in order for more stories to be made and shared by First Nation Artists.
WE’RE THE BUSINESS SCHOOL FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE.
By creative we mean not just the traditional arts but media, entertainment, music, design and communications.
This is an important time in creative industries, when digital technologies are –
There have been changes too in the way people think about creative work.
A new generation sees –
For this new generation, a new kind of school is required. One that understands the work they do and the opportunities they have.

Youthworx is a youth media social enterprise that trains and employs young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in creative and commercial media production. We believe that creativity is to the spirit what food and shelter is to the body and that as much as we need a roof over our head and food on the table we also need to be creatively and purposefully engaged. Our core goal is to support youth who are ‘at risk’ of homelessness. We do this by providing appropriate training options and dignified workplace opportunities.
